ALLEGHENY VALLEY REGIONAL POLICE DEPARTMENT seeking a FULL-TIME POLICE OFFICER:

$32.51 per hour (5% increase annually through 2030)

All applicants must be able to meet the following minimum requirements, prior to submitting an application & resume.

21 Years of age or older

U.S. Citizen, high school diploma or equivalency certificate

Current & accredited Pennsylvania Municipal Police Officer Education and Training Commission – Act 120 Certification

Current & valid PA driver’s license

Must pass a written test with a minimum score of 70%

Must pass a medical & physical agility test

Current & valid First Aid and CPR certification

Must pass a thorough and extensive background check
